Mrs. Chrysanthi Tasiou was born and raised in Thessaloniki. She studied History and Archaeology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed her Master Studies in the department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies at University of Macedonia under the subject of Politics and Economics of contemporary Eastern and South-eastern Europe. She has been offered a scholarship by the German State to follow a second Master Degree course in the field of Political Science at the University of Bamberg Germany. Due to a second scholarship, she currently undertakes a third Master Degree Course, in Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean Studies at the Hellenic International University. Her major interest in her postgraduate Studies is the power of culture of a nation over the important variables of life (economy, politics, education, etc.). As a strong supporter of cultural diplomacy, from 2013, she has been working as a licensed tourist guide.
