Esilda Luku

Title of Paper : Some aspects of Albania’s stance towards Jews during the Second World War (1939-1944)

Associate Professor Esilda Luku, Ph.D. was graduated in History in 2006 at the Faculty of History and Philology, Department of History, the University of Tirana. Due to her excellent results Mrs. Luku was honored with the diploma award “Golden Medal” with the motivation “For excellent results at the end of the academic studies”.
In July 2008, she finished successfully the postgraduate studies (Master) on Contemporary History with excellent results at the Faculty of History and Philology, the University of Tirana. In December 2012, she received Doctor of Science degree from the University of Tirana. The same institution awarded Mrs. Luku the honorary title Associate Professor in March 2016.
She has successfully participated in some National and International Scientific Conferences with academic works, which are published at the Conferences’ Proceedings. Also, she has published several articles in national and international scientific magazines. Mrs. Luku is the author of the monograph “The European diplomacy towards Albania between the two Peace Conferences (1919-1946)” and the co-author of “History of Civilization in Antiquity and Middle Age” and “History of Contemporary Civilization”.
Esilda Luku has been working as a full-time lecturer at “Aleksandër Moisiu” University of Durrës, since October 2006. She has taught subjects in the field of history such as: History of Civilizations, History of Modern Times and History of Albania.
