Title of Paper : Cultural and Educational Aspects of Yugoslavia’s Resistance During World War II: The Shades of Ideology
Jelena Cvetkovikj is a candidate for an MA in History at University Ss. Cyril and Methodius, Faculty of Philosophy, Institute of History in Skopje. She received a BA in History at the same university in 2011. Her research interests include the Balkans in a period from the end of 19th century to the beginning of 20th century and the process of territorial disintegration of Ottoman Empire with a special focus of the Austro-Hungarian rule in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is a member of International Students of History Association (ISHA) and a Vice President of its section at University Ss. Cyril and Methodius. Cvetkovikj has attended many educational events as a participant. She was also a member of Organizational Committee and a workshop leader of the ISHA Summer Seminar 2015: History on the Screen: Historical Movies, Documentaries and TV Shows, held in Skopje from 6th till 12th July, 2015. Her most recent project involvement was in History Project: Crossroads – Examining the Cultural, Historical and Political Heritage in South-Eastern Europe, sponsored by Columbia University of New York, USA.
