Maria Fragkou studied Political Sciences, History and Political Philosophy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research interests focus on history of diplomacy, social history, history of the Second World War, history of the Holocaust
and modern philosophy. She is recipient of the IKY Prize of the Ministry of Education for Distinguished Academic Achievement in Political Sciences (undergraduate studies) and the Distinguished Academic Open Courses Prize of the IT Center of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She was a research fellow at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, National Technical University and Northwestern University.
