Sofia Tatidou

Title of Paper : The mobilization of women in Greco-Italian War (1940-1941)

Sofia Tatidou is a PhD Candidate in the Department of Political Sciences at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research interests are in the areas of social history, social movements and sociology of gender. In her thesis, she examines policies of women’s emancipation and more specifically the suicide epidemic among women in Greece in the late 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
