Title of Paper : WW2 in Romanian Social Remembering. A Methodological Framework
Valentina Pricopie is senior researcher in Sociology and Communication Studies at the Institute of Sociology (Romanian Academy) in Bucharest, where she coordinates the Social Europe Research Laboratory (SERL) and the European Memory Studies Research Group in Romania (EMS-Ro). She is also professor in Media and Communication Studies at Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj and PhD supervisor in Sociology within the Doctoral School of International Relations and European Studies at the same university. She holds a PhD in Information and Communication Sciences at the Lumière Lyon 2 University in France (2006). Mrs. Pricopie joined the Institute of Sociology in 2009 where she has developed three main research areas: Media Discourses and Social Representations; Europe, the European Idea and European Memory Studies; History of Sociology and Sociology of Human Rights.
